I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw my Gap x Rue Magazine Styld.by campaign in Rue’s latest holiday issue! It just came out Tuesday and this gift guide is nothing but ah-mazing! SEE MORE STYLES
For those of you who have been reading Rue for a while, you’re probably familiar with their collaboration with Gap. Each edition, they invite real bloggers to model a Gap piece mixed with their favorite items in their closets. I was over the moon (and felt almost too good to be true) when I was invited to be part of this campaign! To be placed among some of my most respected and admired bloggers (Erin, Taylor, Liz, Caitlin, Jordan) in this Styld.by series was just humbling!
I also got to wear my favorite piece, the Ponte Academy Blazer, in this shoot. I love the grosgrain ribbon piping and the neon coral! It’s a classic piece with a modern twist, and if you know me at all I’m most happy when I’m wearing bright colors! :) What I also love about this blazer is that I can wear it all through my pregnancy and after. It’s something I’m happy to invest in knowing that it will have a long life in my wardrobe.
Another fun component of this Styld.by campaign is that we got to create a gift guide. Since I have a 2 year old daughter and another baby girl on the way, creating a “Girly Girl” gift guide was so much fun! Not to mention, I adore Baby Gap (remember Hayden’s very first onesie was from Baby Gap?) so including Gap’s adorable pieces in this round-up was a piece of cake. The only hard part was to decide which piece to include!
Here is another fun Colorblock Tunic I wore from Gap. I thought it’d would be fun to show you a little behind-the-scenes at the shoot too!
Thank you all so much again for your kind words on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on my involvement in this campaign – really appreciate every single one of them! I’m so glad I’m able to share this with you and would like to wish everyone a very merry and bright holiday season! xo Jeanne
