Monday night, I attended the launch party of a new fashion iphone app, Snapette, at Heidi Says Shoe Salon on Fillmore. There were bubblies, treats, and shopping all around. We even got a up close and personal live demo of the app from the two (Harvard alumni) co-founders, Sarah Paiji and Jinhee Kim.
Snapette (part of the 500 Startups company) is a location-based, social networking app which allows you to discover and share the latest trends and fashion finds with your friends anywhere you go, all on your iphone. You snap a photo of the product, get it onto the feed, and Snapette users are able to see and find the location of the store from where you snapped the product. It’s like window shopping with your friends, except you’re shopping with the rest of the world and everyone else around you! (Read more about it here!)
As usual, I spent the night snapping away pictures and enjoying everyone’s company! I also took advantage of the 15% off at Heidi Says and snatched away a pair of my new favorite shoes… can you guess what it is? See below to see what I bought.
Here’s co-founder of Snapette: Jinhee Kim

And here’s me again looking super short between these two super tall ladies (I’m already wearing my 5-inch heels, life is not fair!)

My indulge for the night, a pair of Sam Edelman leopard slipper flats (with some really cushiony sole inside, ahhh, pure heaven!) And of course, it’s on my Snapette!
Go try it, the app is free! Be sure to search for ‘ShopSweetThings’ so we can follow each other and shop together! :)
Thanks so much again to the Snapette team for a fun-filled night and many congrats on a very successful launch!
