Wantful: Get It Right For Father’s Day

Have you guys thought of what to get your dad or husband for Father’s Day yet? To tell you the truth, I’m feeling a little stuck. Buying gifts for the dads aren’t always so easy for me. I would like to give him beyond just socks and ties, you know what I mean? The options out there are just much more limited than, say, for our mothers. So this year, I’m thinking of giving Wantful a try.

Some of you might have heard of it, but if you haven’t, they are a new startup based in San Francisco (where else, right?!) that takes gifting to a whole new level. Basically, you’ll be creating a personalized gift lookbook for that special someone and they can choose their present from the lookbook you created for them. Kinda cool, right?

So, here’s how it works:

1. You answer a few questions about the person you’re buying a gift for based on their style and personality.

2. Wantful will help you curate a set of 16 perfect gift ideas based on your answers and the amount you want to give.

3. The curated collection is then delivered in a custom printed gift lookbook (shown above.)

4. They choose the item they love the most from the lookbook and Wantful will deliver it.

It’s as simple as that! I just tried out the site yesterday and fell in love with the whole idea. I also love that it’s very intuitive and stylishly designed – you just know when there’s a talented designer behind a good site!

I’m pretty glad I found out about Wantful just in time for Father’s Day! So, I thought I’d share this awesome idea with you. Kind of excited to see my husband get that lookbook in his hands. :)
