Like most of you, one of my favorite things to do is devouring the September issue…but I also like to devour mine in Japanese. No, I don’t read the language (I actually read Chinese…really, I do!), but I just love going through the Japanese ones because I feel like they sometimes feature products and trends that they normally don’t feature in the states. Like that super cute Tory Burch digital camera, you’ll probably won’t find that anywhere here in the U.S.. And, umm, how cute is that Gucci bag in the second pic? (and I’m not even big on Gucci.) I also love that the Japanese mags almost always come with a little freebie. This time I got a colorful dottie travel pouch from Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti. LOVE!!
If you live in or near San Francisco, you can purchase a copy of your Japanese Elle or any other eye-candy Japanese mags at the Kinokuniya bookstore.
Well, I think this is probably one of the best long weekends to devour our September issues, don’t you think? I have yet to pick up some more! Now that Borders are closed, I was sorta left with a blank on where to pick up my glossies. But thankfully, I got a few good recs from my blogging buddies on where to pick up some nice magazines in the city, I’ll try to share those with you soon. Until then, enjoy your wonderful labor day weekend!
