Because the shopaholic in me couldn’t hold back, I popped into Scotch & Soda this weekend while strolling on Fillmore. And boy, did I walk into a huge sale? Everything was 60% off! The mister and I both did some damage but it was oh-so-worth-it! I got this coat (and am thinking about getting this one) and a few cool tops. I can’t wait to wear them after my pregnancy. I suppose it’s my reward and motivation to wearing cool clothes again, haha!

I’ve always loved seeing their stuff online but never tried it in person. Given that they are in European sizes and I’m a typical 5’1 petite Asian gal, I had always been hesitant to order from them (even though they offer free worldwide shipping.) Trying it in person made such a huge difference. The quality, the design, and the cuts were perfect! And with the sale going on right now, it was literally Zara prices with designer quality – if you know what I mean.

I was told that the sale will last til the end of the month and the Fillmore location will be closed down for renovations (as if they don’t look good enough already?!) But don’t fret, they have a Downtown location, which I had no idea it existed, so you can still go there for their last pieces and to also check out their new spring/summer line. By the way, their staff were super nice and helpful and not stuffy at all – brownie points for that!
