Rare Device San Francisco

I drove by the new location of Rare Device this past weekend, and I couldn’t help but had to make a pit stop to check it out. (Yes, I dragged my husband and baby with me regardless of the pouring rain!)

I’m embarrassed to admit that I had only visited this store once when they were at their old Market St. location. I recalled that it was a really cool store, but I’m unsure on why I never made it back. Only recently I had learned that it moved to a new location, so it came back onto my radar as a shop to visit.

There were so many cute knick-knacks, papers, and homeware that it’s pretty hard to walk out of this place empty handed! I was also happy to see that they now have a nice kid’s section. Given a store like this, the selection for kids is usually pretty limited, but I have to say, Rare Device carried a good variety of cool kids stuff. Like these non-toxic Playon Crayon? It’s perfect for those tiny little hands. And they’re stackable too! So of course, we had to get Hayden a set!

I also got the chance to meet Giselle, the owner. She’s super sweet and also has a baby  the same age as Hayden! No wonder she knows what a cool mom is looking for?! If you have a chance to swing by, make sure you say hello and treat yourself to a few goodies!

This is the store we went to after we went to Starbelly right?! Anywho, since it’s not too far away from me over here, I dragged my boyfriend there to check it out. Glad I’m gonna have this place nearby for pit stops of all things cute.
