Happy Tuesday, all! I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I attended the Target Media Day in NYC. As promised, I plan to share with you *a lot more* of my favorite moments from the trip. So, let’s get straight to it and start off with where I left off, shall we?
THE NEIMAN MARCUS x TARGET HOLIDAY 24 COLLECTION
There’s already been a lot of press about the collection, and I’m pretty sure some of you have already seen the fabulous 50 holiday items online designed by the 24 CFDA celebrity designers. But, believe me, there’s really nothing like seeing the real thing in person!
As the Target Chairman, President and CEO Gregg Steinhafel and Neiman Marcus President and CEO Karen Katz (picture above) said – this collection is truly “a match made in heaven.” The design and quality of the collection is exceptional. The prices range from $7.99 – $499.99 (with most items under $69.99) – if this is not affordable luxury, I don’t know what is!
STARTING WITH SHOP SWEET THINGS’ FAVORITES…
Altuzarra – double old fashioned glasses, shaker, and tray ($49.99 – $79.99).
Rag & Bone – flask & shot glasses ($19.99 – $29.99). Thom Browne – men’s & women’s blazer ($129.99 – $149.99). Brian Atwood – leather gloves ($49.99). Philip Crangi – frame & trinket box ($49.99 – $69.99).
Derek Lam – slippers & skateboard ($49.99 – $99.99).
AND THEN MORE…
The Holiday 24 Collection debuts in Target and Neiman Marcus – in store and online – on December 1. So mark your calendar, I can assure you this entire collection will be gone – fast!
CELEBRATING TARGET’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY!
To be quite honest, it still feels very surreal to me that I was there last week. It was a good 12 hour day but it went by like a flash! To top it off, we celebrated the birthday bash with Target where we were literally brushing shoulders with celebrities like Tony Bennett, Naomi Watts, Nate Berkus, Perez Hilton, and Emilio Estefan. And the big surprise? Our very own broadway show with a performance by Alicia Keys!!! To say I had a good time is an understatement!
The party was an eye opener, and once again, I was blown away by Target’s ability to put on a good show – just like this one. And really, how can anyone call it a night without a picture with the real star? Above with Bullseye and other fabulous Target Inner Circle members – Jennifer of Jchongstudio, Alyson of The Average Girl’s Guide, Jen of I Spy DIY, Anne of The City Sage. (Image via Target.)
Thank you so much again to Target for this wonderful experience and being such a good host to us! I am very honored to be part of this amazing group!
I’ve got more fun posts ahead in the next two weeks on my “48-hour” NYC trip – be sure to stay tuned for those! Happy day, everyone!
