My Vintage Escada

Last night I received quite a few compliments on this vintage Escada blazer I wore to the “Rue Turns 1” party. I love it because the color is so vibrant, and red-orange has always been a hue that really worked on me. It makes me happy, confident and instantly pretty!

So you might ask, where did you get that? I thrifted this blazer two weeks ago from this Goodwill Boutique close to my neighb. I got it for 40 bucks and it was in perfect condition. The only thing I did was I cut open the inside shoulder seams and took out those super huge shoulder pads that kinda made me looked like the 80’s Kim Cattrall! This particular Goodwill Boutique house all of the designer pieces, like Chanel, St. Johns, Celine, etc and also other designer-ish pieces like J.Crew and Banana Republic. You definitely have to dig and pick. Not all pieces will work but once in a while you can find a really nice gem!

Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing pictures from the Rue party soon!
