Hi guys, hope you had a nice weekend!
Last Thursday night, I had the pleasure of attending goop MRKT media preview in San Francisco. This is goop’s fifth installment and I’ve been reading about this pop-up for over a month now. So you can only imagine my excitement when I was invited to partner with Fossil, one of goop’s event partners, to cover the event. You can read the coverage here.
The pop-up is situated in a historic building by famed American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, on Maiden Lane. I pretty much grew up in my 20’s working on Maiden Lane so this building was no stranger to me, but the newly restored interiors by famed designer Steven Volpe was simply stunning! I’ve always admired Volpe’s modern and impeccable style (I’ve also worked next to his office in Jackson Square at one point) and I think he did a fantastic job bringing goop to life in this beautiful and dreamy space.
goop MRKT is open to the public until May 22. The curation of products and brands is superb. I definitely plan to make another visit before it goes away. Here’s a few snippets from Thursday night.
