I may not be the best cook in the kitchen, but I do like to geek out on fancy kitchenware. I mean, let’s be honest, pretty kitchen tools do make our food taste better, right? Which is why I recently fell in love this cute little kitchen boutique in the Mission neighb, Pot + Pantry.
This store has the retro-inspired vibe that is right up my alley. I love seeing all the colors and quirky designs, and I felt nothing but happiness and joy while I was in there! And this is exactly how I want to feel when I’m in my kitchen baking my cookies!
Even though this was a small space, I was in absolute (foodie) heaven looking at all the lovely goods in there. My eyes just couldn’t stop wandering! I met the owner, Donna (that’s her above), and she was such a sweetheart! She told me that this space was actually an expansion from her previous location. I was just in awe with how well and organized Donna stocked up everything in this tiny little space. I suppose this is San Francisco for ya, you just gotta make every inch work!
I went in on a weekend morning with my husband and baby, so I didn’t really get a chance to do my ‘real’ shopping… you know, I’m the type who likes to shop alone. But I did spy on some great stuff I want to get for my kitchen and X’mas gifts for my foodie friends who would love a great design. And with lots of Christmas and NYE parties coming up, this is the perfect place to get that unique hostess gift! Rest assure, I’ll be back shortly, Donna! :)
