Happy Mommy Weekend!

If there is one person who I love and respect the most (regardless of how unreasonable she can be at times), that is my mother. Sure, we don’t see things on the same page sometimes – she calls it the “generation gap”, I call it “mom, you’re just getting old!” – I will always love her for raising me and putting good values in me.

There are really no words to describe that special bond between a mother and a child, and I am even lost for words to say how much she truly means to me. She had always given her best self to me and my sisters and now had became the most loving and caring grandmother to my baby.

This past week has been really rough for her. She was in the hospital suffering from a bad case of pneumonia, and I felt so helpless that I couldn’t do anything to make her feel better. Thank goodness she is much better now and finally came home yesterday. I can’t wait to enjoy some dim sum with her over the weekend!

Happy Weekend, Everyone!
