Hey guys! Gonna switch things up today from my He Wears/She Wears and share with you this easy peasy DIY project I spotted over from Erin of House of Earnest!

If you’re into DIYs, you know the whole dipped thing has been pretty hot lately. I’ve seen dipped bowls, dipped bags, dipped jars, dipped earrings, dipped pretty much everything! But somehow, this one just grabbed me…and you know I only want to share the best with my readers. ;)  This one is so easy and not messy to make at all. A fairly simple project that can sure give your kitchen a little sass. I’m thinking of mixing neons and pastels for mine. And wouldn’t these make pretty serving utensils for a baby or bridal shower too?

If you’re up for a little project this weekend, here’s how you can make them! And be sure to say hi to Erin while you’re there. We met at Alt Summit and she is a real sweetie! Not to mention, her beautiful blog is pretty fun to look at too. :)

Have a happy weekend!

Oh, I saw this yesterday on Pinterest! I may have to make my Ikea wooden kitchen utensils a little more glam this weekend :)

  • I’ll have to check it out on her blog and remember to pin it to my DIY board :)

I love these. Since I have no time for DIY, I bought some of them in turquoise and I love them:-)

  • How fun.  They can really add some color to a kitchen!

These are so pretty and such an easy (and inexpensive) idea. I like ideas of turning one not so expensive thing look expensive and stylish.

Saw this DIY at my flipboard before and I instantly in love with it.  l love wooden utensils and this DIY make them prettier :)

  • This is a great idea…I love plain wood & I love a dash of colour, so this is the best of both worlds!
