Holiday Cheers No. 3 | Kahlúa Peppermint Eggnog

peppermint eggnog_1

Eggnog is the drink to have during the holidays. You can’t really have that any other time of the year, do you agree? :) So is peppermint. That’s why when I got Kahlúa’s limited edition Peppermint Mocha, I had the very idea of combining the two. It was a bit of an experiment, but the drink turned out super delicious!

I also love the soft and creamy color of this drink, so decadent! I think this is a nice, easy recipe to serve if you’re inviting friends over for cocktails and light bites, or a dessert course after dinner ~ an inviting palette that will put your guests in a very festive mood this season!

Now on to making the drink…

{RECIPE} Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha

Ingredients: Eggnog (You can make your own or get pre-made ones from store. The one I got from Whole Foods was pretty good.) // Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha // Nutmeg (when it comes to herbs & spices, I like to get fresh ones. The aroma really elevates the drink or dish you’re making.)

// 4 oz eggnog

// 1 oz Kahlúa Peppermint Mocha

// Mix eggnog and Kahlúa in a glass with a stir

// Sprinkle nutmeg on top and serve!

I was not kidding when I said this is easy! The secret really is in the flavored liqueur! ;)

For this drink, you can serve in any medium size glasses. I think it’s fun to have variations like tumblers, wine glasses and martini glasses. I served mine in the handsome Lex Cocktail Glasses (on sale), Martini glasses (on sale), Sparkle-trimmed tumblers.

Combined with my two previous recipes Pumpkin Spice Cider and Kahlúa Iced Russian, I think you got a drink menu that is easy to make and sure to impress!
