ARCE/SF serving the irresistible drip coffees from Blue Bottle!
Here’s a lovely photo of Laura’s adorable sister, Laura of On The Racks and Erin of Apartment 34. (Love all the bright colors on all three ladies!)
Here’s Chelsi of Designer File spotting something cute for her boyfriend!
Me cheering Klassy to a job well done for this great party set-up for ACRE/SF and Katie being a great hostess pouring wine making sure all guests got some booze in their hands!
Get funky this fall with these colorful gloves and fingerless mittens! So fun!
Scrumptious cheeses & salamis from a super cute North Beach deli Little Vine.

A 94-year old Italian deli turned SF’s hippest boutique/coffee shop? Yes, believe it!
When I found out a few months ago that Acrimony from Hayes Valley is opening up a sister store in North Beach, I was sure that they would be on Grant Street where most shops and foot traffics are in North Beach. But to my surprise, the new sister store, ACRE/SF, is situated anywhere but the main strip.
It is a few blocks away from Grant St. and high up on the Telegraph Hill (the corner of Union & Montgomery.) Not only is ACRE/SF surrounded by apartments and residences (and parking is almost next to impossible), you better be sure to have a good pair of city- dweller-flats to hike up those hills to get to the shop (or maybe you can just take Muni.)
The location, I must say, is very unexpected. But I think that kinda goes with the whole idea of ACRE/SF – unexpected. I mean, which shop in SF combines caffeine and retail therapy in one place? You will find very unique and edgy pieces (yet still staples) for women and menswear that you don’t see often in other boutiques. I am particularly fond of their funky jewelry and accessories. Again, kinda adds that unexpectedness to my everyday t-shirt & jeans outfit.
I went to the grand-opening party on the earlier end and had to take off a tad early for the night. But boy, ain’t I glad I got to take some pictures before the crowd started pouring in! I heard the place got real PACKED! After all, it was hosted by Refinery29, and for sure you can expect the most stylish and hippest guest-list ever! To top that off, they got The Soft White Sixties rocking out to live soulful rock & roll beats – I think I’d call this a successful opening party, yea?
Congrats ACRE/SF and thank you for adding another unique shop to the wonderful San Fran!
