How Breaking Up Saved Our Marriage | On Together Podcast

Hey guys, I hardly speak openly about my personal relationships and marriage here, but last month George and I were invited to be on a podcast called Together. As you guessed it, it’s a show about relationships and all the aspects of what (or what not) make relationship works from real couples.  What I love most about this podcast is that it was started by a former divorce lawyer, Erik Newton. He had spent many years watching couples break-up that now he decided to launch a show to bring couples together. I personally find that very inspiring about Erik, turning something negative into positive.

Most of you know, George and I have been together for a very long time. We just celebrated our 7 years of marriage and 19 years together. He has officially been part of my life for half my lifetime! Sometimes I wonder what I would’ve written here if I had started my blog prior to my marriage, because it sure wasn’t as smooth and happy as it appears. We went through some bad break-ups and I even called off our engagement. What brought us back together? Well, I guess you’ll just have to listen to it right here. :)

Many thanks to Erik and Together for having us on the show. We couldn’t be more honored to share our stories. To learn more about Together and other relationship stories, be sure to find them on Facebook, Twitter (@together_show, @newtonlaw), and Instagram (@together_show).
