I can’t remember the last time I bought my favorite pair of pants. Being on the petite side, I always have the most trouble finding a pair that fits me just right. From the legs, to the hips, to the thighs, I can never find the right pair without spending extra dollars on tailoring.
I was pretty excited though when I found out about LOFT’s new redesigned pants! After learning that they did an extensive research on 10,000 women, I was curious to see the 45 different options they came out with. The LOFT team even invited me to try out their pants in NYC and be part of their “Love Your Pants” campaign! (Yup. the main reason I was in NYC last week!) To me, there’s nothing more chic and versatile than owning a pair of well-tailored black pants. I can always dress it up or down and I’m still guaranteed to look polished. I went for their Marisa straight leg in black (their most popular fit)! For the more casual look, I rolled it up and wore it with my sneakers and a boyfriend blazer. And for the more refined look, I wore it straight with pointed toe booties and a more tailored blazer. Both looks are perfect for me as a lifestyle blogger that can take me from exploring content during the day to attending events during the night.
The pants, without a doubt, fit me perfectly! It’s the small adjustments they did to their pants that made all the BIG differences! My favorite adjustments are the back pockets and the supportive waistband. The back pockets are placed slightly higher so that it looks like your tush gets a little lift, and the supportive waistband (a trick borrowed from the boys club) flattens out the tummy. It’s almost weird to say that wearing a pair of perfectly fitted pants gives you confidence, but it really does! I love them so much I even got the same pair in colbalt blue! I’m even thinking of these plaid ones!
I can’t emphasize how important it is for every woman to own a pair of good fitting pants. It only took me about 5 minutes to find my perfect fit at the store. The LOFT pants are by far the best quality I’ve seen at the best prices! If you have trouble finding pants, I really suggest going to LOFT. Be sure to get them on September 7 because for every pair of pants sold, LOFT will donate a piece of clothing to Fashion Delivers, a non-profit that collects excess inventory from manufacturers and retailers and distributes it through a network of community charities each year.
I styled additional looks with LOFT while I was out in NYC. Will be sure to share those with you in the coming weeks!
