Simple Deligh: Honey Tartine


Need a simple delight to kick-off your weekend? How about starting off your morning by making this perfect warm Honey Tartine! It’s simple, I promise! :)


  • Fresh baguette – Preferably fresh from the boulangerie. If not, stick it into the oven for some toasting.
  • Beurre au sel de mer – Butter with chunks of sea salt. Some specialty markets may sell this (I haven’t tried looking yet since I just learned about this simple delight!). If you can’t find it, I would sprinkle sea salt onto mine. William Sonoma sells a good one: Fleur de Sel French Sea Salt
  • Miel du campagne – If you can, get the creamy honey instead of the one you squeeze out of the bear.
  • Optional: Nutella (mmm!) or specialty jams like the ones from Dagstani & Sons I spotted from Oh Joy!.

And viola!
