Hello, I’m Jeanne Chan, founder, curator, and voice behind the lifestyle blog, Shop Sweet Things. I launched this blog in 2011 to share my passion in shopping and to discover simple luxuries in fashion and home. It has now expanded to my other personal interests including beauty, kids, food, DIY, and local spots in my city, San Francisco.
I find great joy in sharing tasteful finds and inspiring others to live a good life. Perhaps this reflects my background in working in luxury retail and interior design prior to my blog. My aesthetic is mostly modern, upbeat, and on trend – with a great appreciation for classics!
As a tastemaker, I have partnered with many companies, small and big, from creating gift guides to curating collections. These include lifestyle magazines, online shops, social shopping sites and lifestyle mobile apps. I’ve also been honor to be featured in Refinery29, Huffington Post, Daily Candy, Racked SF, PopSugar, Matchbook Magazine, Babekins, Glitter Guide, Rue Magazine, and many others. On an influencer level, I also partner with established and independent brands on exclusive content, social media campaigns, and events. All of my partnerships are brands I value in taste as well as a match to my lifestyle.
I love connecting on social media and am constantly attached to my iPhone! You can find me on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You would also find me at industry events often as I love to network, support my community, and get inspired by those around me.
I am happily married to my husband and love spending time with my two lovely girls. You will see them here from time to time as they are a big part of my life! I am from Hong Kong originally and miss it dearly. But I have lived in San Francisco for over 25 years and couldn’t be more proud to be a local in this growing and diverse city.
If you’ve already made your way here, please feel free to introduce yourself and comment. If there is anything you want me to share, or simply just want to say hi, please email me at email@example.com. Thank you so much again for stopping by! – Jeanne
